February is National Pet Dental Health Care Month

February is National Pet Dental Health Month!!  Main question is - are we really taking care of your pet's teeth and their mouth?

I know that we all kid around about our dog's breath but did you know that there could be a potentially serious problem causing your dog's bad breath?

Signs of potential dental problems with your dog are:
  • bad breath
  • loose teeth
  • teeth covered in tartar or discolored
  • LOTS of drooling
  • bleeding mouth

Many veterinarian's suggest annual dental scaling and polishing and a detailed cleaning of your pets teeth. Also brushing your dog's teeth is super important. Never use human toothpaste on your dog as it can upset your dog's stomach and could make your little patient sick. You can use dental dog chews,  and healthy choices for your dog. Cabo Dog Boutique has wonderful healthy dog products such as the Breath Refreshers for Dogs. These dog cookies have
fresh Italian parsley and mint. These dog cookies help reduce stinky “dog” breath.

Another wonderful solution for dog breath is the dog oral hygiene spray at Cabo Dog. This wonderful probiotic dog oral hygiene spray keeps your dog's mouth balanced and healthy by reducing plaque-causing bacteria, which can cause bad breath, gum disease, multiple infections
and heart disease.

Last but not least the good old dog toothpaste. This dog toothbrush makes it easy to clean all three sides of the tooth with one stroke. The soft bristles massage the gums while the firmer
bristles clean teeth. The vanilla flavored dog toothpaste is All Natural and is great for dogs and their people!

So, while you celebrate National Pet Dental Health Month - shop at Cabo Dog Boutique to make those pearly whites healthy as they can be!
