Pavement Precautions for your Dog!

Do you feel the warmer temperatures calling us outside, Cabo Dog Boutique sure does! Spring is upon us and (hopefully) we'll all be able to spend more and more time outside enjoying it.

We all enjoy Spring and Summer and because many of us exercise outdoors - it's much more comfortable to run outside when it's warm and the sun is out rather than in the blistering cold. For many runners and walkers - most all bring their running companion's. 

Many runners and pet owners don't think alot about running outside with their pet.  Running on pavement is good but not always good for your dog. Be sure not to overlook some simple things. Before running outside, remember the "3 P's of Outside Running with your Pet".

Pavement.

Pavement can get blistering hot! We don't pick up on it as often because we're walking in comfortable rubber-soled shoes, but pets don't have the same luxury. Always check the pavement's temperature by frequently touching to see if its warm, if so, reconsider running together that day or move to a grassy location for your outdoor adventures.

Paws.

February is National Pet Dental Health Care Month

February is National Pet Dental Health Month!!  Main question is - are we really taking care of your pet's teeth and their mouth?

I know that we all kid around about our dog's breath but did you know that there could be a potentially serious problem causing your dog's bad breath?
